The group behind Logan Square favorites Lardon, Union and Meadowlark took over the courtyard at co-working space Guild Row, transforming it into a neighborhood pizzeria serving neo-Neapolitan pies. When the weather warms up, the spacious patio becomes an outdoor oasis, complete with its own dedicated bar.
The vibe: Casual and laid-back. It’s the kind of spot where you can bring a big group for pizza and drinks or swing by after work for a quick bite.
The food: The tight menu features a selection of snacks, salads and neo-Neapolitan pizzas. The summer melon burrata and chopped salad are great starters, offering light, refreshing flavors that provide a nice contrast to the pies. The pizzas boast crisp and airy crusts topped with creative combinations like ‘nduja with spicy soppressata and potato with capers and pesto. On Thursdays, the kitchen also turns out pinsas—Roman–style flatbreads.
The drinks: Easy-to-sip cocktails such as spritzes, daiquiris and margaritas anchor the beverage menu. They’re complemented by a few beer and wine options.
Time Out tip: Check the daily specials, which include deals like $15 pan pizzas and a free margherita pie when you buy a bottle of wine.
