The only London kids’ theatre that programmes work all the way throughout the summer holidays (weird, right?), the Little Angel celebrates the fourth year of its excellent Children’s Puppet Festival, which features an August-long mix of interesting short run shows and fun hands on workshops. There are six plays, numerous ‘playcation’ workshops for kids, plus a handful of more serious workshops for adults. Although that’s fewer plays than in previous years, there will for the first time be a sort of ‘headline’ show with a longer run, that being a fresh adaptation of the poem The Sorceror’s Apprentice (as famously adapted by Disney in Fantasia) that will have 12 performances between Aug 22 and 30. There’s too much to list here: head over to the Little Angel website for full listings.
