Analogue is making a comeback in 2026, and cafés and bars in Singapore are fully embracing the movement. Across the city, there's been a growing number of listening lounges that pair curated soundtracks with speciality coffee and cocktails. Granted, that number is smaller than we'd like, but there are still a handful of spots that guarantee a good time when you visit. These sonic sanctuaries that we've shortlisted come equipped with impressive vinyl collections, turntables and state-of-the-art sound systems that put the listening experience front and centre, while serving up a solid food and drink menu to boot. If you're a self-professed audiophile, these are the cafés and bars in Singapore you should definitely have on your list.

July 2026: We've noted closures of old haunts like Vertigo 26 and Simply Analog by Tin Box, while expanding our previous bars-only list to include cafés like Muro Coffee, Slow Boat and Swee Lee Clarke Quay.

9 cafés and bars in Singapore for vinyl lovers

  • Pan-Asian
  • Singapore

What is it? A groovy, music-centric bar on Asia's 50 Best Bars, serving up carefully curated tunes with a side of Pan-Asian grub and classic cocktails.

Why we love it: Offtrack is more than a bar – it's a sonic sanctuary, brought to life by nightlife legends Dean Chew from DJ collective Darker Than Wax and party crew Ice Cream Sundays’ Daniel O'Connor. It took over a former disco den, turning it into a sunset-hued living room where vinyls deck the walls and the disco ball works on overtime. Accompanying that: a state-of-the-art sound system, an acoustically designed space and a rotation of displays by artists. If you're into drinks with a backbeat (we recommend the Tea Milk Punch or Banana Calling) and nights that blend music, culture and community, you'll want to get Offtrack.

Time Out tip: The owners are serious about pushing the vinyl record sleeve at Offtrack, so those keen to learn the craft can keep updated and look out for DJ and production workshops.

Address: 34 North Canal Rd, #01-01, Singapore 059290
Opening hours: Mon-Thu 6pm-midnight; Fri-Sat 5pm-1am

  • Tanjong Pagar

What is it? Bring your appetite up two floors above Michelin-starred restaurant Nouri along Amoy Street, where you'll find a trinity of flavours, sounds, and visual art in one gorgeous setting.

Why we love it: Appetite’s listening lounge is designed to draw you in with plush sofas, subtle lighting, and shelves housing a 3000-strong vinyl collection curated by chef-owner Ivan Brehm. The cosy space fashioned out of a shophouse unit celebrates vinyl’s golden age with everything from Afro-Cuban jazz to 70s rock and 90s R&B, creating a soundscape that’s as layered as the dishes and cocktails served here. Savour Brehm’s crossroads cooking with dishes like foie gras and chicken parfait; spiced Brittany pigeon with chestnut hummus and cranberry gastrique; corn custard with uni, and more.

Time Out tip: Pair your food with classic cocktails made with an Appetite twist – Bloody Mary with Japanese hot sauce yuzu kosho and Worcestershire sauce, anyone?

3. Slow Boat

What is it? Housed in a second-floor shophouse in Tanjong Pagar, Slow Boat is Singapore's very first vinyl listening café, started by brother-sister duo Kathy and Kevin.

Why we love it: It's not just a cosy place to wind down with a cuppa, it is also a space to dip your toes into the world of vinyl before throwing yourself fully into the hobby. Even if you aren't familiar with turntables, you'll get all the help you need here. The mid-century-themed space is furnished with plush two-seater couches, each with a single turntable and two pairs of headphones. $30 gets you a free drink and one hour of listening time. The store has more than 500 records from all over the world available, with no particular curation.

Time Out tip: Explore the other section just outside the main listening area for a completely different vibe – the light-drenched space is conducive for daydreaming as you immerse yourself in some vinyl tunes. Psst: Hear something you like? You can also buy the vinyls home.

What is it? This 30-seat hideaway, curated by former singer Daiki Kanetaka, is a shrine to sound. RPM refers to ‘revolutions per minute,’ and the vibe here revolves around a profound respect for vinyl’s history.

Why we love it: From the floor-to-ceiling wooden shelves brimming with records to the vintage JBL speakers towering above and the private room with premium turntables, RPM immerses you in its audio universe. Specialising in shochu, cocktails and Japanese whiskies, RPM is more than a bar – it’s an education in taste and sound. Kanetaka’s record collection ranges from funk and jazz to local classics and Japanese city pop, inviting you to explore music that transcends borders and eras. You won’t just be listening to classics, but sipping on them too. All-time staples like martinis, negronis, whisky sours, espresso martinis, and manhattans come in three distinct styles to choose from, whether it’s a martini with rice and sweet potato shochu or a white negroni made with awamori (Okinawan rice liquor).

Time Out tip: In the day, RPM transforms into a daytime coffee concept, Corner Corner, inspired by Japan's jazz kissatens. Do note that there isn't the option to request songs. Still, you’re in good hands with a daily rotation of Japanese synth-pop, bossa nova, exotica and city pop.

What is it? With its impressive lineup of records and instruments, Swee Lee’s flagship store at Star Vista attracts avid musicians and casual music lovers like moths to a flame. But its sister venue at Clarke Quay takes things to a whole new level.

Why we love it: Set in a spacious, atmospheric former warehouse, this experience store fuses music retail. Think limited-edition guitars, high-quality audio equipment and rare vinyl records, with an array of immersive features. Here, you’ll find an artist lounge, a creator corner, vinyl listening stations and a stylish café and bar, all designed to elevate your sonic journey. Whether you’re soaking up an open mic night or getting lost in the sounds of your favourite record, elevate the experience with music-inspired cocktails created by the cult-favourite bar along Amoy Street – Employees Only. An hour of listening costs $10, with a minimum purchase of $10 at the retail shop or café.

Time Out tip: There's also plenty to munch on, with nosh like waffles and ice cream, truffle fries and grilled cheese sammies to accompany you as you get lost in the music.

6. Choice Cuts Pizza & Records

What is it? If you enjoy a good playlist to accompany you as you get along with your work, then head over to Choice Cuts.

Why we love it: Here, pizza, coffee, beers and vinyl tunes will accompany you as you crank out some work. This laidback, work-friendly café sells New York-style pizzas and bagels on the first floor, which you can bring up to the record shop and co-working space on the second floor. Gobble up pizzas by the slice (from $7 for the classic cheese to $14 for the Sicilian thick-crust pepperoni), or share a hefty 18-inch pie with a friend (from $38). Treat yourself to the house-favourite triple-decker tiramisu too ($10).

Time Out tip: You'll want to keep an eye out on their socials for the latest happenings, which can see everything from boogie parties with summer sets by Kush Jone, to Stevie Wonder-themed nights and soulful, NYC-style jazz performances. It's an absolute must-visit for anyone who loves music (and pizza, of course).

  • Bukit Merah

What is it? Check out Singapore’s first vintage vinyl bar at Little Island Brewing Co's Gillman Barracks digs.

Why we love it: The gastrobar celebrates a love for vinyl records and vintage sound systems, featuring a Technics MK5G turntable as well as vintage Altec Lansing A5 -X speakers from the 1950s. Here's where you can unapologetically jam out to your favourite songs, while enjoying a vinyl-inspired charcoal pizza exclusive to the outlet, where the slow-fermented kombucha dough is even tinted with activated charcoal to mimic a record. For a fun touch, pizza flavours are inspired by famous hits over the decade – think Pineapple the Sailor Ham (Popeye the Sailor Man) and Play that Fungi Muzik (Play that Funky Music).

Time Out tip: Be sure to head down on Wednesday evenings for Waxy Wednesday, and get your groove on to nostalgic hits from the 70s and 80s. The kids are welcome as well – who knows, maybe they too will develop a love for disco and all things groovy.

Address: 43 Malan Rd, Singapore 109443
Opening hours: Sun-Thu noon-10.30pm; Fri-Sat noon-11.30pm

8. Muro Coffee (Chinatown)

What is it? Minimalist, industrial-themed café on the second floor of a shophouse in Chinatown. Check out the cosy record player corner, which comes equipped with a turntable and a small but decent selection of vinyls, ranging from rock-disco compilations to the classic tunes of Frank Sinatra.

Why we love it: Muro's Chinatown outlet is where to go for some respite from the heat and busyness of the streets below. The vinyl corner is snug, fitting only two people at any time. To use it, simply ask any of the friendly staff, who'll gladly assist you. While you're here, sink your teeth into focaccia sandwiches – the café's specialty – which come in variations like the Mad Cheese with three types of cheese ($12.90), smoked chicken and pesto ($14.90) and smoky beef pastrami ($14.90). Or order a simple coffee or matcha along with sweet treats like tiramisu as you while away the afternoon.

Time Out tip: There's also a retro-style photobooth in the café, which you can have a go at when you spend more than $10.

What is it? While not a café or bar, this Latin American-inspired restaurant in Holland Village boasts a dedicated vinyl listening lounge – perfect for unwinding at after feasting on flavour-packed plates for dinner.

Why we love it: Behind the main dining hall at MyX, you'll uncover a 10-seater booth where visitors can browse a collection of books at the Lending Library, or listen to records at the listening lounge. These unique features take the regular dining experience up a notch, transforming the restaurant into a warm, community-centred space where diners can mingle and interact. Both the library and listening lounge work on an honour system as well, where guests are trusted to borrow books and records back home, or even contribute one to the existing collection.

Time Out tip: To experience the space without burning a hole in your wallet, pop by for the $26 set lunch, with specials like spiced avocado toast and Cubano sandwiches.
